Hello! My name is Vanessa and I will be graduating from the Joliet Junior College vet tech program in May of 2026 and will be receiving my CVT. I’m excited to see what the future holds for my career. I joined Crest Hill Animal Hospital in 2022 freshly out of high school and have not looked back. I enjoy everything I do in the veterinary field. My favorite part of the job is educating owners which is huge privilege that I get to experience every day. I also enjoy helping people become comfortable asking any questions (there are no dumb questions as I like to say!). I hope you feel comfortable in bringing your concerns to us here at Crest Hill Animal Hospital. I have 3 dogs (Milo, Thor and Loki) and 1 guinea pig (Gus Gus- yes from Cinderella). If I’m not doing all things vet med, you can find me reading or hanging out with friends trying new foods. I also help translate in Spanish for those in need!
