Hi, my name is Laura!

     I joined the Crest Hill Animal Hospital team in March 2023. I started my career in pet care as a bather for a corporate owned grooming salon in 2005. I  eventually reached my goal to become a groomer in 2006. I went on to further my grooming skills by working for a family owned grooming salon in Indiana. There, I had the opportunity to work amongst some very talented and highly experienced groomers who were in the business for over 20 years. I decided I wanted to increase my knowledge in pet care and began working as a groomer for a veterinarian in 2019. This has helped me expand my knowledge in pet care immensely, and I always try to pass on everything that I learn to pet parents. I love getting to know pet parents, their pets and learning about their lifestyles so I may provide quality grooms that suit their needs. I believe that pets are family and should be treated as such. 

     On my free time, I love spending time with my family. My husband and I love taking our dogs to the dog park. For us, it never gets old watching our dogs have the time of their lives running with their ears and tongues flapping in the wind! Those are the moments I live for. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members!
