Shannon Blankenship – Veterinary Nurse (C.V.T.)/ Lead Nurse

Shannon has worked at Crest Hill Animal Hospital since 1996. She graduated from Joliet Junior College Veterinary Technician program in 2001. Her interests include rehabilitation, laser therapy, and surgery. Shannon enjoys spending time with her three dogs Clover, C.C. and Addison. She has two cats, Al and Marlee and a Leopard Tortoise named Tank.


Alicia Hasselbring - Veterinary Nurse

Alicia has been a veterinary nurse here since 2013 but has been in the veterinary field since 2010. She chose to work in the veterinary field because she has always loved animals and being able to help them every day is very rewarding. Outside of work Alicia enjoys doing anything outdoors such as fishing, shooting, hiking, and swimming. She has a dog (a german shepherd mix) and 3 cats and also fosters kittens through rescue so it is never boring at her house!


Dana Eich – Veterinary Nurse

Hi my name is Dana. I have been a veterinary nurse at Crest Hill animal hospital since 2008, but have been with the hospital since 2005. My favorite part of the field is surgery. I am very excited about furthering my education by learning ultrasound. I enjoy educating our clients on the best care for their furry family member(s). Outside of the hospital, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and going to the gym. I have been with my fiancé Jeff since 2004, together we have 2 fur babies Willow (Siamese mix) and Jade (Greater Swiss Mountain dog) along with our 4 poisonous dart frogs.


Diana Quiroz- Veterinary Nurse (C.V.T.)

I started working at Crest Hill Animal Hospital in 2011. I’m currently attending Joliet Junior College and I’m working on getting my degree for veterinary technician. I am fluent in Spanish and enjoy translating for our doctors. I love to work with animals and help with client education. I have a small dog named Chiquilin and a cat named Charles.


Alissa Johnson – Veterinary Nurse

My name is Alissa and I’m one of the Veterinary Nurses at Crest Hill Animal Hospital. I’ve been a Veterinary Nurse since 2006 and have been with Crest Hill Animal Hospital since 2004. Just recently, I became the Kennel Manager at Crest Hill. You can also see me sometimes behind the receptionist desk helping out. It’s kind of hard to choose which part of the field is my favorite because I love to do everything. I’m very passionate in what I do and want to educate our clients as much as possible. Ever since I could remember, I’ve always wanted to help out animals and now I’m carrying that love and passion for animals onto my kids at home. My husband and I have been married for 13 years and we have two amazing. We also share our home with 2 furry kids, Snooki (6yo jack/basset mix) and Phoebe(16mon dilute calico cat). Outside of work, I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends and play all types of sports.


Shannon Hagenbaumer- Veterinary Nurse

Shannon joined the Crest Hill Team in May of 2018. She has been a Veterinary Nurse for 18 years and graduated from the Joliet Junior College CVT program in 2002. Her professional interests include dental health and exotics. Shannon’s passions include photography, running, and sports with her 3 kids. One of her favorite titles is baseball mom! Shannon also enjoy sports with her 4 dogs like agility, dock diving, and barn hunting.


Isabella Bellanger- Client Care Provider/Veterinary Nurse

Isabella started at Crest Hill Animal Hospital in 2015 as a kennel assistant and since then has worked her way to becoming a CSR and most recently a nurse. She currently attends Joliet Junior College, in her second year of the vet tech program. Isabella says she “chose Crest Hill because they are passionate and dedicated about providing the best care possible to all their patients”. She has two German Shepherds, Enza and Primo. In her free time she loves furthering her education in all things "vet med".


Kailee Flynn- Client Care Provider/ Veterinary Nurse

Kailee has been a part of the Crest Hill Animal Hospital team since August of 2017. She wanted to join their team because “I knew how passionate each employee was for the care and safety of each pet that walked through the door”. Kailee is currently attending the Joliet Junior College veterinary medical technology program to become a vet tech. She loves being able to help animals and give them a voice to make sure they are healthy and as happy as they can be.


Cherise LaPorta – Client Care Provider

Cherise joined the Crest Hill Animal Hospital team in 2011. She is originally from Buffalo, New York. Cherise has been happily married for 7 years and has a 5 year olf son. She is alo a mother to a furry four legged cat named Bejou. Cherise shares “WOkring at Crest Hill Animal Hospital has taught me so much and has allowed me to provide great service and care to our clients. The doctors and staff have become family and I could not be happier to work here”.


Corral Gerena – Client Care Provider

Hello, I have been working at Crest Hill Animal hospital since 2015. I love working as a client care provider. It gives me great pleasure in taking care of the patients as well as our clients. I have one lovely German Sheppard named Chance.


Hailey Meyer – Client Care Provider

I started working at Crest Hill Animal Hospital in 2005. I am originally from Seattle, WA. I really enjoy working with our patients and clients as well as my coworkers. I have two golden retrievers Oscar and Bailey and a cat named Bob.


Sue Kies – Client Care Provider

Sue has been a part of Crest Hill Animal Hospital for 20 years, and with the company 22. She has always loved working with animals and knew from a young age that's where she needed to be. Sue loves helping people learn how to best care for their pets, and to be a voice for these pets. Sue’s family consists of her husband and their 3 kids and 3 pets, that all keeps them busy. They love to be active outside, whether its running, hiking, kayaking, biking anything really, just have a blast doing it together. Sue’s mantra? “This life is a gift and I want to be sure I'm being intentional with my time and my relationships with those around me”.


Haley Campos- Client Care Provider

Haley started working at Crest Hill Animal Hospital in April of 2018. She choose to be apart of this team because they have the patient's best care at mind. Her goal as a Client Service Specialist is to do her very best at making every client and patient feel happy and comfortable when walking out of our doors. Currently, Haley has one lazy and happy beagle named Rocky. Which coincidentally he was named after Rocky Balboa; although he does not live up to that name, he is still her furry baby <3.


Amy Mackender- Client Care Provider

Amy started here at Crest Hill Animal Hospital in April of 2018. This was also her first job in the veterinary field. Amy says “it's truly inspiring to learn new things every day from people who have so much experience and knowledge to offer”. She married her husband Brian two years ago, and they have two cats named Maumau and Pip, five chickens (Daria, Jane, Scarlet, Audrey and Eliza) and a bantam rooster named Poppy. Amy loves travelling and going on adventures, cooking, drawing, painting, and crocheting, and of course animals!


Adrielle Tardecilla- Client Care Provider

Adrielle has been working at Crest Hill Animal Hospital since May 2018. She joined the team because of the genuine care and compassion that the staff has for every animal and their owner that walks through the door. Adrielle has always had a passion for animals big and small, and she says “it has been a privilege to work at a practice that has the ability to care for not only cats and dogs but also small animals and exotics.” She has five furry babies: 4 rats, Kirby, Toaster, Rizzo and Remy, and one Rottweiler/German Shep/Boxer mix named Roscoe Becoe. Besides her fur babies, she also has a daughter named Angelina Rose. Outside of work, Adrielle enjoys music, spending time with her family, and discovering new board games with her husband.

Beth Nugent – Groomer

Hello! My name is Beth Nugent and I began working at Crest Hill Animal Hospital in October 2009. Prior to working here I was a bather and grooming assistant. Then in 2005 I attended a grooming academy and became a certified groomer in the spring of 2006. I have worked with many different groomers in the past years that have shared different techniques which helped me grow as a groomer. Through this experience and knowledge I began teaching a fellow co-worker, Lauren McCabe in December 2015. I am happy to say she is doing amazing. I love working with pets and adore every one of my client’s pets as my own. I am always looking forward to meeting new clients and their pets, while getting to know them as I do the rest. I have 2 dogs of my own, Piper who is a husky/shep mix and Sawyer, a hound mix. I also have 2 shorthair cats named shamrock and Gideon.

Jessica Zeno - Practice Manager

Jessica has been working at Crest Hill Animal Hospital since October of 2017. She attended Benedictine University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She is passionate about providing the support necessary so our team can provide the best care for your pets. Jessica loves to spend time participating in any activity that she can bring along her three dogs Layla, Roxy, and Harley.
